It was such a beautiful fall day for a wedding at the Vintage Venue in Urbana. Carrie (my second shooter for the day) and I had never been there before and were blown away by how adorable the farm/barn wedding set up was!!! We got there a little early, and quickly started taking pictures of the venue, dress, and rings, and fell in love with the upbeat bride and groom.
It was such a relaxed wedding party that it was just fun getting their last few pictures of getting ready, laughing together, and making sweet memories. Tori looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and the bridesmaids all loved on and hugged on her all day making her feel like a princess. One of my favorite parts of her ensemble was the necklace that her grandma let her wear of her and her late husband's wedding rings together. It was such a symbol of unfailing unfaltering love.
The groom and his groomsmen were getting ready in the renovated old chicken coup (now a honeymoon suite/getting ready room) and they were just laughing and having a good ol time. Andy had his childhood best friends there to keep the mood lighthearted and fun--and no one seemed nervous at all.
The ceremony was about to start, so Carrie and I got ready to capture the most important moments of Tori and Andy's lives. (make sure you look for the best man watching Andy's face as he sees his bride for the first time--one of my favorite pictures of the day!!) Tori and Andy exchanged rings and pledged their lives to each other till death do us part--kissed to make it official, all while being supported by their dearest family and friends. It was perfect.
We got some family pictures as well as the entire wedding party--then finally let the bride and groom have a few moments alone snuggling and kissing for the camera. The reception was so sweet at the maid of honor and best man gave their speeches that made us all laugh--and cry, and the couple had their first dance together as husband and wife. The father of the bride shocked us all with his dance moves, and the mother of the groom couldn't have looked at her son any more proud than when they were dancing together.
We let the guests eat their cake as we sneaked outside for a few more pictures of the bride and groom. To say that it was the perfect day/night for a wedding and starting the rest of their life together is an understatement. I was so blessed to witness and photograph the wedding of Tori and Andy Bennett.
