Hey hey!! My name is Jade. I ended up in Kandalyn's boudie group thanks to I believe Ryin during the 2021 bracket. Initially, being the girls' girl that I am, I was like "heck yes, I will come vote for you!" Little did I know that I was joining one of the most amazing communities of women. That bracket, and every one since, I commented on every single picture of these beautiful ladies. I believe that if you were brave enough to share a picture on social media (not just a boudie pic) you deserve to be told how absolutely amazing it is. This was a time in my life where I had just been broken up with, my heart hurt, my confidence was low and walking into that shoot I had never been more nervous. I did not know what to expect. Was I really about to let a stranger take a picture of me basically nude?! I hated how I looked; what would she think? I think I almost backed out about 10 times but I am so glad I didnt. Kandalyn made me feel as though we knew each other for years. We laughed. We cried. We had the best time. I left that day feeling like I was the most beautiful person on the planet, but better yet, I left with a new friend.

Since that first session, I have had 7 sessions with Kandalyn: 3 boudie parties, 2 family sessions and 2 boudie sessions. Kandalyn has photographed me at so many stages of my life. No matter what season, place or mood I was in, Kandalyn made me feel absolutely beautiful, loved and worthy. A session with Kandalyn isn't just getting pictures taken, it is an experience that will nurture your confidence, your heart and your soul.
